rome - Italy is going to confiscate the ships Lifeline and Seefuchs from a German NGO to check the papers. Both ships say they sail under the Dutch flag, but that denies the Netherlands.
The ships have recently become a hot potato. The organization states that the ship sails under the Dutch flag, and indeed has the red-white-blue on the mast, but the Dutch delegation from the European Union informed on Twitter that the ships are not registered in the Netherlands.
The Lifeline responded by tweeting a photo of a Dutch registration form.
