Italian top criminal arrested in Alicante

alicante - A mafioso who had been fleeing since 1993, has been arrested by the Spanish and Italian police in Alicante. This Fausto Pellegrinetti lived under a false name in the Spanish city. Two years of investigation preceded his arrest last Sunday, the police reported Monday.

Pellegrinetti is described as 'a historical mafioso' that has maintained close ties with numerous mafia fans such as the Marsigliesi, the Berenguer, Bellicini and Bergamelliu.
