Italian hostages freed in Libya

rome - Three employees of an Italian construction company who were kidnapped on September 19 in the southern Libyan city of Ghat, are released in the night from Friday to Saturday and arrived on a special flight on Saturday morning in Rome.

Reported that the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It involves two Italians and a Canadian.

The three men worked at the airport Ghat, near the Algerian border, when their vehicle early morning was intercepted by gunmen.

According to the Italian Ministry of the hostages were freed thanks to the cooperation of the local Libyan authorities.
