Israeli soldiers shoot Palestinian dead

kiryat arba - Israeli soldiers have shot a Palestinian man on the occupied West Bank Monday who attacked them. An army spokesman told the Haaretz newspaper that the perpetrator at a checkpoint near Hebron pulled a knife and went off with the guards. These opened the fire in a reaction.
Last month, an Arab Israeli tried to stab police officers near Jerusalem's Temple Mount. He, too, did not survive that.
