beirut - Israel has shot missiles on a military complex near Damascus, according to Syrian state media. The Syrian anti-aircraft organization would have intercepted three missiles.
Witnesses confirm to news agency Reuters that three large explosions were heard and smoke was seen at the city of Jamraya, near the Syrian capital. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also mentions the attack.
In 2013, a military research center in the Jamraya was also the target of possible Israeli missiles. On Saturday, Syrian state media reported that Israeli fighter planes have also attacked an Iranian base under construction not far from Damascus.
