'Israel prevented attacks on European cities'

jerusalem - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel has prevented 'several heavy attacks', including attacks with aircraft.

Netanyahu suggested that it concerned attacks with hostile aircraft that could have crashed in European cities.

'We have provided information with our intelligence services that prevented several serious terrorist attacks,' he said in a meeting with foreign diplomats according to the Times of Israel newspaper.

'Some of those attacks could have been massive, of the worst kind ever to be experienced on European territory, and worse because civil aviation was involved. 'He did not give details about the exact nature of the possible attacks.
