ISIS claims attack on Libyan police

- Islamic State has claimed responsibility for Thursday's attack on a training camp of the Libyan police., Killing at least 47 people dead. The attack was a truck packed with explosives used. The attack was about 150 kilometers east of the capital Tripoli, in the coastal town of Zliten.

In a statement, ISIS Friday to be responsible for the attack. The terror group has presence in the North African state extensively and wants to take advantage of the chaos in the country. An important goal is to keep in control of the city of Sirte (with its oil fields). Since the fall of dictator Gaddafi and the chaos that followed, the oil production from Libya has dropped by 75 percent.
