IS is in hospital

- Islamic State on Saturday carried out an attack on a hospital in the southwest of Deir al-Zor. The extremist rebels conquered land on the outskirts of the besieged city in eastern Syria, where government forces still partly have to say.

The IS Amaq news service reported that fighters stormed the Assad hospital. According to the Observatory for Human Rights, there are reports that the medical staff taken hostage and imprisoned a number of Syrian soldiers. Islamist terrorists now also have the control over an important access road, a fire station and the university complex. It would also progress achieved in the advance towards the oilfields of al-Tayyam and the nearby military airport.
