- The group Islamic State in Raqqa executed fifteen own members, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Sunday.
The executions followed the arrest of 35 IS-members on Saturday, said the Observatory based in Britain, over the five-year conflict in Syria report based on information from a network of activists. According to the Observatory fifteen were executed in connection with the death of Abu Hija al-Tunisi, an IS-leader who died last Wednesday in an air raid.
