IS commits an attack on the Kabul intelligence service

kabul - In an attack on the national intelligence service of Afghanistan in Kabul, five people were killed on Monday. Islamic State (IS) has claimed the suicide attack.

The explosion at the entrance to the intelligence service building was caused by someone who blew himself up. All victims were citizens who happened to be in the vicinity of the entrance. Two wounded were also involved in the attack.

IS has been becoming more active in Afghanistan lately and has claimed responsibility for recent suicide bombings in Kabul. How the relationship with IS in Syria and Iraq is not clear.

An attack was also committed in another part of Afghanistan. In the province of Helmand, six police officers were killed when they drove a roadside bomb with their armored car. Although the attack has the signature of the Taliban, the attack has not yet been claimed.
