IS blows Assyrian temple in Iraq

baghdad - Islamic State has put a video online which shows how a 3000 year old temple is inflated in the Assyrian city of Nimrud. It is the latest attack on archaeological and cultural heritage sites conducting the terrorist movement.
The United Nations confirmed in a statement that shows how,, widespread damage made to the main entrance 'to satellite. It is not clear when the video was made.
Nimrud dates from the thirteenth century BC and is located approximately 30 kilometers south of Mosul.

The video also shows how bulldozers bulldozing the ancient gate of Nergal in Mosul. The gate was part of the city wall of the historic city of Nineveh.
