Injured on 'reverse' escalator in Antwerp
antwerp - On a busy escalator in the Antwerp metro are Monday fifteen slightly wounded when an escalator malfunction suddenly changed direction.
In the subway station Schijnpoort, not far from the Antwerp Sportpaleis and the Lotto Arena, went up an escalator suddenly down. Dozens of people were uprooted by the quake, reported the Gazet van Antwerpen. Fifteen people were slightly injured four of whom have been treated in a hospital.
It was very busy in the underground because there was a concert of Adele in the Lotto Arena.
