Injured at collapsing ceiling discotheque

madrid - In a discotheque in southwestern Madrid, 26 people were injured in the night from Saturday to Sunday when a suspended ceiling gave way. The emergency services were quickly on the spot at the discotheque in the Carabanchel district and eleven of the wounded were taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The fire brigade closed the discotheque and an investigation was started into the state of the nightlife, the Spanish news agency Europa Press reported.
