damascus - In Syria killed at least 652 children since 2016. That's an increase of 20 percent from 2015, according to figures from UNICEF. A large proportion of the children died in or near a school. More than 850 children have been recruited as child soldiers.
The aid agency also points out another problem. There were in 2016 at least 338 attacks on hospitals and medical staff.
