tuam - A former Irish home for unmarried pregnant women are 'significant amounts' of human remains found. That the commission of inquiry was established following stories on Friday announced disappearances.

According to The Irish Times involves several bodies of babies, whether born prematurely and children up to two to three years. That are found in at least seventeen of the twenty underground rooms and storage areas run studied at the complex in Tuam. This' Mother and Baby Home 'in county Galway was run in the period 1925-1961 by' Bon Secours' sisters.

Some of the excavated relics probably dates from the fifties. On possible causes is nothing said. According to local archives data at the time that the house was open 796 infants, toddlers and young children deceased. Further research should reveal whether all located in the mass graves are found.
