taipei - A major earthquake with a force of 6.4 on the Richter scale caused a great havoc in Taiwan. A hotel collapsed, among other things.
That is what the BBC and other international media write. On a video you can see how a hotel in the city of Hualien has sank. The earth trembled at around 23.50 local time. The epicenter was outside the coast.
There are no reports of possible injuries and deaths.
