hong-kong - Customs in Hong Kong has done the biggest catch of ivory in thirty years. In a warehouse at the port, the customs discovered 7200 kilos of tusks, accounting for a revenue of over 8 million euros.
The ivory sat hidden between frozen fish in a container. The container was from Malaysia. The fighting teeth are, according to nature conservationists, derived from about 720 elephants.
