Hilarity to 'drunk' Juncker at EU summit

amsterdam - A video of a visibly tipsy Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, at an EU summit in Latvia, is massively shared on the internet. The film dates back to May 2015 but was recently posted on YouTube. Since the video has now been viewed nearly a million times.

Juncker was clearly a little too much to his liking during the summit of the so-called Eastern Partnership program in the Latvian capital Riga. The video shows how various EU leaders of a smiling Juncker get a 'conversational' slap in the face, are squeezed into their cheeks and gripped their shoulders. One of them also get a big kiss on his forehead. The EC president jumps from one foot to the other, makes dances and tells jokes. He would have finished the Hungarian Prime Minister during the summit for 'dictator'.
