In the night of Saturday on Sunday it became known that several princes and government officials were arrested. They would have been guilty of corruption. It is about eleven princes, four seated ministers and dozens of former ministers.
The arrests took place several hours after a new anti-corruption agency was set up. The committee is chaired by Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, who, according to critics, fights a personal battle with his opponents.
