Heavily Wounded in Lucaswolde

- A car with five passengers has crashed in the night from Saturday to Sunday on the Hooiweg in Lucaswolde (Groningen) against a tree. One of the passengers is in danger and another was seriously injured, the police said. The three other victims did minor injuries in the accident.

One of the victims was trapped for some time in the vehicle. Meanwhile, four victims were taken to hospital. The other could be treated locally. How the accident could have happened is not known.
