Hangover gets worse from the 29th

amsterdam - When you are young, you often do not suffer from a hangover after a night out. But after the 29th the drink really starts to strike.

It is the big question of every partygoer: why was that different in the past?

The Australian dietitian Kate Save says in Daily Mail that hormonal changes cause your body to digest alcohol differently. Furthermore, the kidney function decreases as you get older. Your liver also slows down, so that alcohol is less likely to be broken down.

As we get older, muscle mass and fat content increase significantly. This changed composition also ensures that we are more susceptible to a hangover. Muscles contain more water so that more alcohol is absorbed. The more fat, the longer the alcohol stays in your body, is Kate Save's theory.
