Hamburg police chases unknown gunman

hamburg - Hamburg police chases an unknown gunman who Sunday a cyclist in the German port city shot and took a car under fire.

The downed bicyclist was hit by several bullets and died in hospital. Police are looking for the gunman, who is old according to witness statements between 20 and 25 years.

The shooting incident occurred in the district of Bergedorf. A 34-year-old woman said that she had to stand there with her car on a bridge to get past an oncoming car. Then they looked to the left, she saw a man pointing a gun at her. They immediately gave gas and drove off, but noticed a few hundred meters away that was her left rear tire puncture, likely by a bullet.
