Hamas executes murderers in Gaza

gaza - The militant Islamic group Hamas on Tuesday in Gaza executed three convicted murderers. Two were shot dead and the third, a policeman suspended.

The three were, according to a statement from Hamas condemned in several cases. All appeals were exhausted and saw the families of the victims their right to forgive the perpetrators.

The executions were the first murder since Hamas in Gaza in 2007, came to power. So far executed the group were only Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel.

The Palestinian Authority, the Fatah-led Palestinian government on the West Bank, said the executions unlawful because President Mahmoud Abbas has not given approval.
