Haier brings smartphones to Netherlands

- The Chinese white goods manufacturer Haier is also active for several years in the smartphone market. In the Netherlands, the affordable units were not available yet, but that will change this year.

On the eve of the Mobile World Congress shows Haier know that HaierPhone V4 (€ 280) and the HaierPhone L56 (€ 179) in the second quarter of 2016 are available in Europe.

The V4 features a 5.5 inch full HD display, a 64-bit processor with eight cores, 2GB of internal memory and 16GB of storage. The V4 has a 13 megapixel camera and a metal case.

The L56 has a 5 inch screen with a resolution of 1280x720, a 1. 3 GHz processor with four cores, 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage memory which can be expanded via microSD. The cheaper L56 has a metal case. Both devices run on Android 5. 1.

In the third quarter also appears more expensive V6 (€ 349). This, like the V4 a 5.5 inch screen. Furthermore, the device features a 2 GHz 64-bit processor with eight cores, 3GB of internal memory and 32GB of storage. The V4 has a 13 megapixel camera on the rear and 8 megapixel version at the front. The phone can be unlocked with a fingerprint scanner. The V6 runs on Android 6. 0.
