Hague should dismiss refuse official

- Refuse Officer Wim Pijl does not come back as an official of the civil registry in The Hague. Arrow was dismissed in 2011 because he refused to marry gay couples. He found that a violation of his freedom of religion and went to court. But the highest court in the country, the Central Appeals Tribunal, the municipality Monday gave equal.

Arrow was many years before the Christian Union and SGP in the Hague City Council and then became faithful servant. As a councilor he took an active part in the debate on refuse officials. Was his attitude,, incompatible '' with the policy of the municipality. This created a deadlock and justified dismissal, says the Central Appeals.

Arrow is a member of the Reformed Christian Social Union (RMU). That union was with him in the process.
