athens - The Greek police on Thursday morning arrested a suspected member of the left-wing terrorist group Revolutionary Struggle. Panagiota Roupa (48) was wanted since 2012. She offered no resistance when she was arrested in a flat in Athens where she was hiding with her child, police said.
Roupa is the partner of Nikos Maziotis, which of Revolutionary Struggle attacks in prison.
The group, which declared war in 2003, all forms of authority, has claimed more than sixteen attacks. Most were against ministries and branches of banks. When one of the group's actions hit a policeman injured when he came under fire with automatic weapons.
