athens - The Greek Supreme Court on Thursday rejected the extradition of eight Turkish soldiers to Turkey. Ankara demanded their extradition because they have participated in the bloody coup attempt in July. The newspaper Kathimerini reported that the Supreme Court judges rejected all eight extradition requests.
The Turks during the coup attempt in mid-July fled in a helicopter to Greece last year.
