Greece calls on EU emergency

brussels - Greece urges EU relief in connection with the large numbers of refugees who gets the land. The European Commission announced on Thursday that the southern European country has submitted an official request. EU Commissioner Christos Stylianides (Humanitarian Aid) called on the EU Member States,null, generous '' on the request to go in.
It is the first time that Greece emergency requesting service in connection with the migration crisis. Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia did so earlier this year.The EU Civil Protection Mechanism provides crisis intervention, to include earthquakes (Nepal) or flooding. Help can be offered in the form of for instance sleeping bags, blankets, bedding, tents and medical supplies, but also in the form of expertise.
