Tech August 9, 2017 09:39

mountain view - The beta version of Google Maps has included some updates for Android 8.0, including the Picture-in-Picture mode. According to Androidworld, the map app can be reduced to a thumbnail version that users can choose to float on the screen somewhere.

Another addition is the personal statistics about your travels. Google will inform you monthly how many trips you've made, your average speed, the time spent in the file and your total travel time.

The third added feature is a question and answer section that you can use at locations. You can ask a question the community can answer. It is not known when Google rolls out the test version 9. 59 overall.
