Google is working on smart lens

- Google is working on a smart lens that could help people with eye disease. A patent application shows according to Forbes that the electronic lens include sensors, storage and contains radio.

In the patent, which was filed on April 28, describes that a device via a liquid is introduced into the lens of the eye. Once in the eye, the liquid is hard, so that it forms an artificial lens. The natural lens of the person will be removed for this purpose, a technique that is also used in diseases, such as cataracts.

The lens should be set via a computer, so as to improve the eyesight of the patient. It is not clear whether the lens even though it has been tested on humans.
