paris - French winemakers have had a good year. According to the French Ministry of Agriculture, this year's harvest will allow more than a quarter more wine to be produced compared to last year.
According to the Ministry's estimate, wine production will reach 46.55 million hectoliters this year. That was 36.83 million hectoliters a year earlier. With this, 2017 entered the books as the least year since 1957. For all French types of wine, the annual production will be considerably higher.
