Giant panda twins born in China
macau - The giant panda Xin Xin gave birth to twins. It is the first time that pandas are born in the Macau region in southern China.
The mother and the larger female (135 grams) are in good health, but the smaller cub (53.8 grams) was to the intensive care unit and get 24 care per day. Their sex has yet to be determined, reports the South China Morning Post. The younger of the two described 'very light compared to the weight of an average young panda.'
Xin Xin is naturally became pregnant with her partner Kai Kai, but she was artificially inseminated. That says a spokesman for the Chinese government against the BBC.
