Germany: Syria was behind poison gas attack

berlin/douma - Germany Monday accused President Assad's regime of involvement in the alleged poison gas attack. 'The regime's actions are revolting', said a government spokesman.

According to the international aid organization Union of Medical Care Organizations, at least sixty people were killed by the attack and more than a thousand people were injured. The death toll is probably going up. 'Rescue workers have trouble getting into the underground spaces where the gas has entered and where people were hiding,' the organization explained.
