Germany gets Holocaust professor

wiesbaden - Historica Sybille Steinbacher will be the first German Holocaust professor of Germany on Tuesday 1 May. Steinbacher has been appointed at the Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.

The German scientist is a renowned Holocaust investigator. In Frankfurt she will teach philosophy and historical sciences. Her chair is connected to the Fritz-Bauer Institute. Since 1995, this study and documentation center has been investigating the murder of millions of Jews by the Nazis.
