Germans together have 5857 billion

frankfurt - The people of Germany have never been as rich as at this moment. Collectively, at the end of last year, citizens had a meager 5857 billion euros in private assets, not counting real estate. That was five percent more than a year earlier, according to the German Bundesbank Friday.

It is not only about money but also about insurance and securities. The growth was precisely in the latter because even in Germany (more than 80 million inhabitants) hardly any interest is paid by banks. Yet the Germans still had 2311 billion euros on savings accounts, about 39 percent of the total.
