emmerik - German police on Thursday morning searched a refugee center in Emmerich, just across the border at Nijmegen. That research, where a hundred policemen and special units took part, lasted an hour and was part of the search for the alleged perpetrator of the attack on the Christmas market in Berlin on Monday evening which twelve people lost their lives.
Wednesday, it even seemed that the center would be searched but that is obviously delayed.
Justice in Germany did not provide information on the results of the search. The sought perpetrator of the attack, the Tunisian Anis Amri applicant would have possibly lived in the center of Emmerich.
