German midwife wanted to murder mother

- A German court in Munich sentenced a midwife to fifteen years in prison who tried to murder pregnant women just before they give Caesarean blood thinners. They should not exert more its action, German media reported Saturday.

The woman would have seriously jeopardized the lives of seven mothers. They had to undergo emergency surgery. One of the mothers received 44 blood transfusions to stay alive and, moreover, can have no more children.

The 35-year-old midwife, who during her training one of the best in the class, came from frustration to her actions. She found that she did not receive enough recognition and appreciation. The woman worked in a clinic in Berlin and a hospital in Bad Soden in Hesse.
