German ex-minister Genscher deceased

- The former German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher is deceased. The liberal politician died at the age of 89, reported his office in Berlin.

Genscher was eighteen years Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1974 to 1992. During the same period he led the liberal party FDP. He worked with in the negotiations on German unification. He was regarded in Germany as one of the most popular politicians, who typically always wore a yellow sweater.
