World January 17, 2018 12:39

berlin - With raids at fourteen locations, the German police have taken action against a large Polish-Syrian family who illegally smuggled Syrian refugees into Germany. The family asked 8,000 per person per person and provided, among other things, false travel documents.

This enabled the Syrians to fly to Poland from the Gulf States to be taken to Germany from there. Most then requested asylum while they had to do so according to European rules in Poland.

According to German media, the police involved 170 police officers. At least two people were arrested.
