Fuss about 'traffic signs' extreme right society Voorpost

jabbeke - The far-right Flemish nationalist party Voorpost has started a remarkable campaign. The organization has posted posters along nineteen motorway ramps with the text 'Beware! Crossing illegals'.

A few weeks ago an Ethiopian who fled from the police in Jabbeke was hit on the highway. The driver of that car, Brigitte Vyvermans, was shocked. 'It was dark and suddenly that man ran for my car. He was also dressed dark again. There were cars behind me, so an emergency stop was not an option. I wanted to move, but it was as if we both chose the same side to avoid each other. It was a huge bang, 'she says to Het Nieuwsblad.

Help came too late for the 39-year-old Ethiopian. He died on the spot. Vyvermans may have to pay for all the costs of the accident. The insurance is probably not picked up. The same accident occurred earlier on the E40 at Mannekesvere.

Outpost seizes those incidents to start a poster campaign. At nineteen places on several driveways along the E40 and the A10 towards the border with France and Calais they hung up posters with 'Attention! Crossing illegals. 'The right-wing extremist organization wants to warn motorists that 'crossing illegals' do indeed pose a danger, Voorpost explains in a Facebook post.
