French mayor through the dust after joke

beauvais - A French mayor has gone through the dust because of a misplaced April 1st joke. Caroline Cayeux announced that IKEA was going to establish itself in its municipality, with a sloppy 4,000 jobs. However, afterwards nothing turned out to be true.

Cayeux, mayor of the North French Beauvais, announced on Twitter the arrival of the Swedish furniture giant. 'Great news for Beauvais and employment,' it sounded. 'It is the result of a long battle with other northern French cities. 'The construction of an IKEA would be good for 4000 jobs, reports the BBC.
