paris - In France, an employee at January 1 the legal right to turn off their smartphones outside of working hours. The measure was conceived by the Minister of Labour, Myriam El Khomri.

The measure they want to end the culture of 'always available'. Which has led to many unpaid overtime hours and an overdose of information and can provide health problems like insomnia and burnout.

Companies with more than fifty employees are required by law to tell their employees when they can switch off their phone.
