Free beer in Belgian Parliament

brussels - Beer and wine remain free for Belgian parliamentarians. A committee had recommended that henceforth no free alcohol to pay more in the coffee room, but according to Belgian media see the MPs not sitting.

An MP last year had made a racist remark, after which the committee examined the matter. Which include suggested tap no longer free to run in the federal parliament in Brussels. According to the Chamber President and political group leaders, however, no alcohol problem there.

The decision to give free beer and wine included in the Parliament was in the late nineties, in order to avoid political debates during dove into the pub.
