France gives 50 million for aid in Syria

paris - French President Emmanuel Macron pledged 50 million euros in humanitarian aid for Syria on Monday. The money goes to several NGOs that provide relief work in Syria and to the aid organization of the United Nations.

Macron had a meeting Monday with delegates from twelve organizations in the presidential palace. According to the United Nations, 13 million Syrians urgently need help because of the war in the country.
