- State Secretary Sharon Dijksma (Infrastructure and Environment) will see if the penalties for violation of recreational drones are high enough.

She goes before consulting with the Ministry of Security and Justice. That requires the minister to parliament Friday.

They tightened the rules for the use of unmanned aircraft to. They may soon fly up to 50 meters high and 100 meters. This recreational drones must remain 50 meters away from buildings, crowds and roads.

Apart from that, the minister with an information campaign to alert users of drones on the rules. There will be a radio campaign, advertisements in magazines and advertising posters on the streets. The reason for the additional information is a recent incident involving a drone at Schiphol.
