amsterdam - Brunhilde Pomsel, former secretary of Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels in Nazi Germany, last week deceased at 106 years old. This made Christian Kroenes, the director who made a documentary about her, tonight known to Associated Press.

Brunhilde Pomsel was considered one of the last living members of staff from the era of Adolf Hitler. She started in 1942 under Goebbels, just when he started his campaign of hatred against Jews. She ended up there because of its qualities as a typist in German broadcasting and was for some time a member of the NSDAP.

The Soviet Army took Pomsel after the war, after which she spent five years in detention camps. In 1950 she took back to her job as a typist and she joined a German broadcaster where she worked until 1970. All that time she was silent about its Nazi past.

Until 2011, when a German newspaper interviewed her and Pomsel first looked back on her work as secretary to the Minister of Propaganda.

Last year, Christian Kroenes made the documentary 'A German Life' about her life. Pomsel did in his own words just secretarial work and knew nothing of the extermination of six million Jews. She says: 'I would not describe myself as guilty. Unless you blame the entire German population that the government could take over whole control. We made all far, including myself. '
