- Former French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault is foreign minister. It is one of the changes in the government announced by the French President Francois Hollande on Thursday.
Ayrault was prime minister from 2012 to 2014. After losing the Socialists in the elections, he had to step down in favor of the current Prime Minister Manuel Valls. The latter continues to, like, among others, the Ministers for Finance and Economics.
Hollande appointed, among others, the president of the French Greens, Emmanuelle Cosse, to Minister of Housing.
