Former minister Lew to investment company

- Jack Lew, former US Treasury Secretary, is going to work for an investment company.

With this he follows in the footsteps of his predecessor Timothy Geithner, who after his ministry also started working for a venture capitalist.

Lew becomes a partner at the New York-based firm Lindsay Goldberg, an investor that focuses on family businesses. Lew was Minister of Finance from January 2013 to January 2017. Before that he worked at Citigroup.

Geithner was Minister of Finance in the US between 2009 and 2013. He then went on to work in a top position with the well-known investor Warburg Pincus.
