Foreign aid for Argentina with submarine

World November 17, 2017 22:48

buenos aires - Argentina gets help in finding a submarine that has been out of touch since Wednesday. The ARA San Juan has a crew of 44 heads and was en route from the southern naval base Ushuaia to Mar del Plata, 400 kilometers south of Buenos Aires.

The last known location of the ship was 432 kilometers from the coast of Patagonia in the Gulf of San Jorge. Because there is no communication, the navy suspects that there is a problem with the electricity supply. In that case, the submarine must come to the surface, 'therefore visual and radar detection is important'.
