For sale: house of the 'Reus' of the gang of Nijvel

aalst - The house of the supposed Giant of the Gang of Nijvel is for sale. For the amount of 169,000 euros, the former home of ex-rector Christiaan Bonkoffsky is offered.

That is what the Nieuwsblad reports. The cottage on the Moorselbaan in Aalst has been empty since the death of man in 2015. Bonkoffsky himself was not the owner of the property, but rented it from the woman who has put it up for sale.

Interested parties can view the house online from next week via real estate agency Tijl 'Perhaps there will be extra attention. Maybe not. For us it is a house like everyone else ', says an employee of the office.

Christiaan Bonkoffsky was first a gendarmerie and then a local policeman in Aalst. After his divorce in 1999 he lived for more than fifteen years in the house on the Moorselbaan where he also died.
